LED Lamps for Greenhouse Cultivation Optimization
or
Detail description
The study conducted by MIPROLED highlights the effectiveness of LED lamps in greenhouse cultivation across different seasons. The research findings emphasize that the response to light intensity varies based on the time of year, impacting the growth of bedding annuals and flowering pot plants. In winter, lamps with specific functions are crucial, while in late winter/early spring, lower light intensity suffices for quality production, leading to early cycles. LED lamps with a specific red and blue light ratio outperform HPS lamps and single-color LED lamps. Additionally, optimal light intensity levels facilitate successful cutting rooting, especially in challenging species. Light supplementation in certain seasons enhances spirulina and phycocyanin production. Managing natural radiation through shading and incorporating specific red light wavelengths further enhances production quality. Importantly, LED technology offers energy-efficient solutions compared to traditional lighting methods for similar outcomes.
