GO INVASOR-ES: Resilience 4.0 for Infrastructure and Crops Against Invasive Species

Intelligent monitoring systems for invasive species in irrigation infrastructure

or

Detail description

The project establishes a new paradigm for combating Exotic Invasive Species (EIS) in water infrastructure, particularly irrigation systems. It develops intelligent monitoring stations using vision-based technology, ensuring scientific validity, economic efficiency, and environmental sustainability. A key output is a database of annotated images of detectable EIS. The system is designed to adapt to various network types, EIS species, and timeframes. Technical feasibility, economic impact, and environmental implications are assessed.
