The project bridges scientific research and practical farming by deploying specialist teams to implement sustainable practices in seven key areas of animal husbandry: nutrition, breeding, reproduction, mechanisation, animal hygiene, health, and economics. It focuses on improving feed quality through innovative drying techniques like NOKA’s vacuum-type alfalfa dehydration system, enhancing genetic selection and artificial insemination, optimising livestock housing for welfare and productivity, strengthening biosecurity and disease prevention, and integrating farm management software with ear-reading technology. The initiative supports sustainable livestock production, food safety, environmental protection, and economic efficiency in Bulgaria.
