Detail description
Organic micro-gardening trials (2018–2019) in Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur evaluated soil fertility, mulching, crop associations, plant care, and small equipment. Findings show double mulching stabilises soil temperature and controls weeds. Cover crops like white clover establish quickly. Reduced tillage maintains productivity over three years. Fermented comfrey and biodynamic preparations show potential benefits. Onion oil diffusers reduce carrot fly damage cost-effectively. Mono-row seeders outperform multi-row on clumpy soil. Maestro and Bolero carrots show best root quality. Plans include micro-irrigation, winter cover crops, and improved pest control.
