Intercropping Peas with Hull-less Barley for Improved Yield and Efficiency

Intercropping hull-less barley with peas improves yield stability and land use efficiency in sustainable farming systems

or

Detail description

Intercropping peas with hull-less barley improves yield stability and reduces lodging in pea production. Five barley varieties were tested at 50:50 and 30:100 ratios, with Land Equivalent Ratio (LER) used to evaluate land use efficiency. Part of the H2020 CROPDIVA project, findings support sustainable crop integration. Contact: Edward Dickin, Ashley Roberts. More at www.cropdiva.eu and @H2020Cropdiva.
