BBioNets: Advancing Bio-Based Technologies in Agriculture and Forestry

Supporting bio-based innovation in forestry and agriculture through regional networks

or

Detail description

BBioNets is a 36-month EU-funded project with a €2 million budget, bringing together 9 partners to establish 6 regional Forest and Agriculture Networks (FANs). The initiative supports farmers and foresters in adopting Bio-Based Technologies (BBTs) to enhance biomass reuse, strengthen climate resilience, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and advance circular economy and zero waste goals. FANs identify local needs, prioritise relevant BBTs, and share practical knowledge with stakeholders. The project is promoted via social media: Facebook (@bbionets.eu), LinkedIn (@bbionets-eu), X (@bbionets.eu), Instagram (@bbionets.eu), and YouTube (@BBioNetsEU). Key partners include MTU, EcoAgric, CREA, iur, CTA, American, Tessaloniki, TEPPO, FOCUS, and BIO.
