MOVING Project - Organic Olive Oil production in a mountainous region

MOVING was an EU Horizon 2020 project that aimed to build capacities and co-develop relevant policy frameworks across Europe to support the establishment of new or upgraded/upscaled value chains that contribute to the resilience and sustainability of mountain areas. The project engaged value chain actors, stakeholders, and policymakers in a total of 23 European mountain regions in 15 countries. This Policy Brief focuses on the Organic Mountain Olive Oil Value Chain from the Betic mountain ranges of Spain studied within the project. The policy recommendations aim to address both the immediate and long-term challenges facing the Value chain, ensuring its growth and sustainability.
