Policy Recommendations for Small Farms in Southern Europe

or

Detail description

SALSA was an EU Horizon 2020 project that assessed the contribution of small farms and related small food businesses (suppliers, processors and distributors) to sustainable Food and Nutrition Security (FNS) in Europe and Africa. One important part of the project was identifying the enabling conditions necessary for small farms and small food businesses to help meet the growing demand for food in an increasingly populated and resource-constrained world. This Policy Brief focuses specifically on the key policy-related messages from the SALSA project for communicating to decision-makers in Southern Europe. In addition to English, it is available in French, Greek, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish.
