Drents Plateau: Natuurinclusieve landbouwinnovaties

This poster presents the outcomes of the Regio Deal Natuurinclusieve Landbouw Noord-Nederland (2019–2024), a regional initiative promoting nature-inclusive agriculture. It highlights strategies such as enhancing biodiversity through crop diversification, agro-biodiverse margins, and integrated land management. Key results include improved agricultural resilience, reduced chemical use, and increased collaboration among farmers, researchers, and local communities. The project involved 150 farmers, 35 institutions, and 30 students, with 20 experiments, 9 studies, and 8 regional network projects. It demonstrates successful models like mechanical pest control, buckwheat production, and nature-friendly grassland management, supporting sustainable, economically viable farming systems.
