Durante el confinamiento debido al COVID19 todos hemos manejado términos como seroprevalencia, PCR, contagio, receptor, carga viral, medios de transmisión, prevención y vacunas. Desde siempre, son algo habitual para los expertos en sanidad animal, que trabajan para evitar enfermedades, prevenir contagios y garantizar el buen estado de la cabaña. Varios grupos operativos y proyectos innovadores tienen como objetivo solucionar problemas, impedir pandemias, garantizar el acceso a alimentos sanos para los consumidores y proporcionar bienestar a los animales.
